A luxurious and extraordinary stay at PURESLeben in Southern Styria with all the privacy you need
There is no better feeling than “home away from home” during a vacation. However, it is hard to find a hotel that offers exactly that feeling, right?
At PURESLeben, I guarantee you will feel exactly this. PURESLeben is a luxurious and unique hotel concept located in Southern Styria in Austria, with breathtaking interiors and outstanding service. The well-being of each guest (including your furry friends!) is of the highest importance, all while preserving ultimate privacy.
At PURESLeben, you can rent beautifully renovated historical “barns” that combine traditional with modern interior designs and function as holiday homes. All premium houses have luxurious add-ons such as private pools, private outdoor saunas, large bathrooms, living room areas with fireplaces, and the comfiest (!!) beds. Furthermore, each house is located in a super quiet area, surrounded by nature. The only sound you hear is the wind in the trees and the birds singing! A magical feeling!
Upon our arrival, we were blown away by the stunning location and how well everything was prepared. We arrived in the late afternoon in autumn, so it was nearly dark outside. The house was lit up, our table was set for dinner, and our delicious food was already waiting inside. I still remember entering the house and smelling the tasty Austrian food. Mmmm. Our fireplace was prepped and ready to be lit, we had wine and juice waiting on the table, and a nicely prepared bedroom. Additionally, I’d like to mention that the temperature in the house was perfect! Something I am always a little worried about when going on vacation; however, we had heated floors and the fireplace, and always had the coziest temperature.
Now… you might wonder how a holiday home can have the service of a luxury hotel. Well, PURESLeben has a special concept for that. Every day, you get your freshly prepared and ready-to-eat food delivered to your doorstep. The so-called PURESLeben “fairies” are true heroes and deliver your food on time and so quietly that we didn’t even notice them when we were at home.
Each day you get to choose your delicious meal for the next day. Breakfast is delivered early in the morning, with freshly baked bread, fruits, coffee, hot chocolate, marmalade, honey, savory toppings for the bread, bowls, or whatever your heart desires, while your dinner is delivered in the late afternoon, so you can decide when to have it. Something I loved as we came home hungry from exploring the surrounding nature in the afternoon and had our soup as an afternoon “snack.”
Also, the food will be delivered in cookware so – in case you decide to eat later – you can easily warm everything up in your own kitchen. Open the box with the food, place the pans and pots on the hob or in the oven (depending on your meal), let it warm up, enjoy it. Super easy! By the way, once you are finished eating, you just put the empty pots and pans back into the delivery box and place it outside your house. The fairies will come and silently pick it up again. No need to get your hands dirty cleaning.
However, if eating at home is not for you, you can always visit the restaurant from PURESLeben where you will receive your dinner à la carte. It’s only a short drive away from your house.
Another thing that was extra special during our stay was how lovely our furry friend (my dog) was treated (see the photos above!). Whoever has a pet themselves knows that if you go on a holiday, you want your pet to be happy too. Not only did we have food and water bowls for Cookie, but he also found a whole bag of treats waiting for him! Safe to say PURESLeben is his all-time favorite hotel (and I haven’t even started speaking about the fantastic garden!). Which, actually, is a good point. The large garden was perfect for us to enjoy being at home, all while being outside in the fresh air.
In our garden, we had an outdoor pool, a natural pond (which you can also take a cold dip in!), and an outdoor sauna, overlooking the beautiful, hilly scenery. Having a private sauna and pool is the ultimate goal if you ask me, therefore, this was something we enjoyed and used a lot.
During our stay, we saw zero personnel, all while being taken care of so well! There is really no nicer feeling than truly letting yourself fall while being on vacation, which we could 100% do at PURESLeben. Safe to say this hotel is a 12/10 recommendation – I can’t wait to be back soon.
