Whoever has been following me on social media (@interiorbygini) or read a few of my previous blogposts will know I am obsessed with wallpaper. Using wallpaper in interior design is a perfect way to bring in character, depth, interesting materials, motives, and personality, all while it’s not that of a big deal, right?
I mean, of course it’s a lot of work and planning when DIY-ing wallpaper in your own home. But I still have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by how easy the application process was! And to be really honest, it was one of the works I actually enjoyed doing. Very therapeutic.
Anyways, the process of selecting the right wallpaper for my projects is probably the biggest time consuming thing ever. I spend hours searching through every wallpaper website, catalogue and samples out there, making sure I find the absolute best product. A product that suits the space, the people living in the space, as well as the rest of the interior design concept. And despite seeing a bunch of different wallpapers day in day out, I do have a small collection of favorites … Wallpapers where I loved the quality, the look, the company behind – everything. And guess what? I’m not gatekeeping here! In this blogpost I’ll finally share with you my 10 favorite wallpapers including the full name, making it super easy and fast for you to shop.
- “Woods” by Cole & Son
Cole & Son does amazing wallpapers in general, and there will be a few other’s from them in my list. However, “woods” is just top notch! Absolutely obsessed ever since seeing it for the first time.
2. “Heron” by Gucci
Yes, you read that right! Gucci, the fashion brand, also makes wallpapers! And even though they are quite pricy, the look is absolutely amazing. Besides this stunning motive, they also offer other designs as well as other colors.
3. “Aula” from ROMO Fabrics
The “Aula wallpaper from ROMO is simply stunning and so versatile, as it can be placed from floor to ceiling or ceiling to floor. Beautiful colors, high quality material. Definitely a recommendation!
4. “Pine” by Sandberg
The series “Pine” from Sandberg comes in a lot of different colors, all stunning! I have recently used this wallpaper in a client project and the different color options make it simple yet perfect to choose. It’s a great choice if you are looking for something elegant that’s not too boring! In fact, if you choose this wallpaper in a more neutral color (like my client’s did), it is more subtle and blends in perfectly. However, if you’re looking for something to stand out, then colors such as “green” will be your perfect choice!
5. “Chinoiserie Chic” by Rebel Walls
The wallpaper I have used in my own home too shall of course not be missed! Love at first sight and all I can say after using it: it’s perfect! I am very happy with the quality, found the application and ordering process super simple, and just can’t get enough of that stunning motive. Available in multiple colors. I chose the same color as shown below, powder beige.
6. “Aquario” from Cole & Son
As I said, Cole & Son will be seen more than just once in my selection of the best wallpapers, and here we go again. As a lot of the Cole & Son wallpapers have exclusive motives, I prefer to use them in a guest bathroom or kids room. This “Aquario” wallpaper is such a cute and fun addition!
7. “Raphael” from Etoffe
Soft and gentle, a stunning wallpaper that comes in different colors, perfect for any space.
8. “Vintage Scenery” by Unit Nordic
I haven’t used this wallpaper myself but the motive and colors look absolutely incredible. I adore how much depth it adds to a space!
9. “Nuvolette Cloud” Wallpaper from Cole & Son
How could I not include this absolute icon? I feel like this wallpaper has been shared so many times and always looks incredible. On the walls, on the ceiling… no matter where! Also the perfect wallpaper for kids room or a bathroom.
10. “Hua Trees” by Sian Zeng
I have actually used this wallpaper in one of my client projects but haven’t shared photos of it yet! The wallpaper is absolutely stunning, perfect for any space and so fun to look at. I also adore the colors, as it is quite subtle yet exciting. Highly recommend!!
