Looking like pieces of art

Have you ever seen a flower arrangement that made your jaw drop? And made you want to re-create the bouquet yourself? Well, you might find that flower arrangements can be harder than expected. But how come?

One thing I have learned as an interior designer is the importance of vases. In order for your flower arrangements to look amazing – believe it or not – you need the right vase! Don’t believe it? Have a look at our selection of the 15 most beautiful vases below and fall in love yourself … By the way, if you choose the right vase, you don’t need a huge flower bouquet. Sometimes, even 1-3 simple flower stems are enough to work their magic in the right vase.

All vases are linked below. They are not listed in a specific order as the right vase depends on the setting and flowers.

1. Louise Roe Balloon Vase

Louise Roe vases are always something special – with or without flowers! Our favourite is the Louise Roe Balloon Vase in Raw White. Available in two sizes and perfect in combination with other vases from Louise Roe in Raw  White.

2. Ichendorf Milano Optic Vase

Another great eye-catcher that makes any flowers look stunning. Especially the long and slim body of the vase is great for less flowers and branches. The vase comes in different sizes, slightly different designs and looks great combined.

3. Westwing Vase Saki

This is hands down my favourite vase. Especially for larger flowers such as lilies or huge branches (like my viral magnolia branch) the Saki vase is simply perfect. The vase alone is quite heavy and has a large body, making it even heavier when it’s filled with water. No need to worry about it tipping over! Both sizes are great but I prefer the larger one (or both vases next to  each other).

4. H&M Home Glasvase

This budget-friendly vase is my favourite for spring flowers such as tulips (or other flowers with longer, flexible stems). I prefer filling this vase up with lots of flowers, which looks great literally anywhere – no matter if you place it on the dining table, your coffee table or on a night stand. This vase is something special!

5. Skrufs Glasbruk Kolonn 30cm

Although this vase is quite an investment piece, it is worth its money. Beautifully made and very unique, this vase has the perfect size.

6. ERNST

A brand we have just recently discovered … and love it! If you like texture, soft colours and calm designs, you will love these vases as much as we do.

Also, these vases are perfect as a sculptural piece if you don’t want to fill it with flowers.

7. Audo Copenhagen Stance Vase

This viral stance vase has been across social media for the past few months and we can’t resist but add it to our list of the most beautiful vases. It has such a unique shape and is great for simple flowers or branches. Minimalistic simplicity at its best!

10. 101 Copenhagen

What can we say … anything from 101 Copenhagen is a piece of art, like the „duck“ series we’ve been loving for years now. Do note though that most of their pieces are not waterproof but come with plastic bags for your flower arrangements. We love to use 101 Copenhagen products as sculptures only too.

11. House Doctor Jang

Another one of my favourites! The Jang series from House Doctor are super cheap and come in different sizes. Due to their surface and larger opening, they work as vases and/or flower pots! This is great because they are very versatile, leaving you with many options to use this piece. From a few hyacinths to large bouquets of meadow flowers or kitchen basil, this piece is perfect for everything!

Another classic! Lyngby vases are great for romantic flowers such as peonies or single hydrangea stems.

It’s not a secret that Dusty Deco is one of our favourite younger interior brands with so much potential! Of course, we couldn’t help but add their Arcissimo vase which comes in different sizes to our list of favourite vases. Lovely texture and the perfect size!

The Most Beautiful Summer Tableware On Earth

While my little Italian barn is far from ready, I just couldn't resist of already getting some beautiful interior design pieces for once it's finished. I can only imagine my life there, sitting on the terrace, overlooking the lake, eating Italian food, and enjoying life. There's still a long journey and even more work ahead, but hey, this tableware lifts my mood so much, AND makes sure to keep me motivated.

I Bought The Most Beautiful House In Italy!

In August 2024, I finally decided it's time for change. Time for a new beginning, time for a new project, and time for a new challenge. While I wouldn't say it was a rushed decision, we did decide quickly which direction we'd wanted to head towards, which was a house to renovate, surrounded by nature, in Northern Italy. I wanted to be close to water, he wanted to be close to the mountains, and anyone who's been to Lake Como knows it combines both. The perfect place to be.
