… on Valentine’s Day
With Valentine’s Day coming up, it’s time to buckle up for the prettiest floral arrangements again. Finally! I mean, flowers make everything better and should definitely not be limited to Valentine’s Day only. However, these 15 gorgeous floral bouquets exceed the mainstream ones, and will definitely leave an everlasting impression with your loved one(s) on this years’ V-day.
Now you might ask what makes some bouquets look unique, special, and just great instead of others? Well, the answer to that is simple. Flower arrangements definitely do not have to be massive to look stunning. Instead, they can actually also be a small arrangement with a few branches and flowers. However, the most important part is how you display them! Choose the right vase and make sure they are packed nicely. Having them wrapped in a boring plastic will definitely not make it look like you put in a lot of thought. Instead, try to pack them in stunning paper or arrange them in a stunning vase from the beginning on.
Additionally, I always recommend working with different flower sorts instead of just one. This will make the bouquet look richer, bigger, and just more special. Even though you don’t need a ton of different flowers, I recommend working with a few different colors and heights to bring in character and depth. Make sure you work with gentle colors for Valentine’s Day, as this is the day of love, celebrated by colors such as red, rose, pink, and blush-tones. (However, of course you can choose any color you like!).
Let’s take a look at some breathtaking examples of floral arrangements
1. Orchids and other wild flowers
This bouquet is super stunning, featuring orchids and other spring flowers, as well as a few branches to add a bit of green. Gorgeous!

2. A mix of tulips and branches
Easily one of my favorites, and so easy to recreate. This bouquet features tulips and spring branches, which can both be picked up in nearly any flower shop. Paired with a few exotic other flowers like lilies, ranunculus, anthurium, and what appears to be French tulips, this bouquet stands out even more in its uniqueness. It is relatively easy to re-make and can also include other exotic flowers. However, the tulips and branches are a great base for that!

3. Small but gold
It doesn’t always have to be big to leave an impression. Sometimes, the arrangement of flowers makes everything better already! This stunning setting consists of roses, ranunculus, and other wild flowers to leave an impression. Notice the different heights and soft materials used? This makes the bouquet feel gentle yet impressive.

4. A wild girls dream
Obsessed with the different pastel colors making this bouquet look like it’s straight from the countryside. Beautiful arrangement and a perfect end with the ribbon holding it together.

5. Moody flowers in rich colors
This bouquet is another dream. Moody colors, combining a bit of winter with the rich feel of red and love. Gorgeous!

6. Pastel color dream
This bouquet should be easy to re-create in any flower shop and just looks so stunning and rich! It holds peonies, hypericum berries, fragrant stock, and wispy thryptomene. Gorgeous!

7. Wrapping matters
This is exactly what I mean when saying the display matters. You could have gotten these tulips in the supermarket and the daisies even in the wild, however, removing a plastic wrapping and instead having a gorgeous paper with a ribbon around it, makes it stand out. This is a very budget option for a Valentine’s Day bouquet that still looks so lovely!

8. Dahlia dream
One of the most beautiful flowers out there if you ask me are Dahlias, and this bouquet is perfect with it. However, Dahlia is usually a flower found in late summer/autumn, so it might be tricky to get some. If you do have the chance though, then this bouquet is a perfect inspo to make anyone happy.

9. Lilac for the win
In my opinion, you don’t always need a fancy bouquet to leave an impression. I personally love one sort of flowers or branches already! This gorgeous lilac is so massive, I can already smell it through the screen. If you have the chance to get your hands on a massive bunch of single flowers too, I can also recommend that.

10. Pretty colors contrasting
This gorgeous bouquet combines a few different colors, with the orange standing out the most, gently contrasting the other flowers. What a gorgeous constellation!

11. Colorful wild flowers
For anyone loving it colorful, you can work with different contrasts. Make sure to also include different heights, as this ensures the best results to make it look a bit more wild and not as stiff. I recommend to work with the highest contrasting colors (as also shown on the color wheel, which you can learn more about in my interior masterclass here!). Blue, yellow, red, green will tie your bouquet together beautifully.

12. Go big or go home vibes
Ok, if you really want to go big, then you might want to consider a fancy option such as this one! While this bouquet looks absolutely massive, it doesn’t actually have to be millions of different flowers. In this case, there were a lot of voluminous flowers used, making the bouquet appear bigger (although it is very big anyways). I adore this!

13. Minimalistic spring lovers
Your loved one is more into minimalistic flowers? Magnolia branches are a wonderful way to include that. They look so pretty but are also very simple. Perfect for spring.

14. Unexpected beauty
This is a very unique flower arrangement, featuring amaranthus AND grapes! If you want to go over the top and create a very special bouquet, this will be it.

15. Vintage roses with a little something
Another easy way to elevate your bouquet is to work with unique flower colors. These vintage roses have a gorgeous color, all while being the ultimate classic for Valentine’s Day. By working with a few gentle contrasting flowers that stick out of the bouquet you are creating height and something extremely special. What a gorgeous creation without needing lots of different flowers!

I hope these inspirations made it easier for you to choose your next floral arrangement – whether or not it’s for Valentine’s Day or just a special occasion. Flowers change everything! I will also be working on a new lecture launching on the interiorbygini masterclass – styling edition about flowers very soon, so make sure you sign up now to receive these updates too. Link is here.
